Philosophy of Care at Meadow View Care Home Witney

Meadow View Nursing Home aims to provide its users with a safe, relaxing, and welcoming environment where their care, well-being, and comfort are paramount.

Our carers will strive to protect and preserve all service users' dignity, individuality, and privacy in a warm and caring atmosphere. In this way, it will remain responsive to the changing needs of service users.

These needs may be medical/therapeutic (physical and mental health), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional, and social, and service users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised Service Users' Plan of Care in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and very grateful.

This will be achieved through a program of activities designed to encourage mental alertness, self-esteem, and social interaction with other service users, as well as recognition of the core nursing values underpinning our home's philosophy.

Our 'MISSION STATEMENT' is extremely important to us and underpins everything we do at Meadow View: -

Meadow View is a small family-run nursing home. We are a home away from home and are able to provide care on a more personal level to our residents. We want our residents to feel as if they are still in their home but with more professional and quality care input using a holistic approach.

We work with relatives, other professionals, and external agencies to ensure continuation and improvement in care standards.
